PULSAR: A SUPER EASY new Zentangle Pattern by Pegi Schargel, CZT
The PULSAR tangle is an incredibly simple, versatile, and adaptable Zentangle pattern. It is just waiting for your playful tangling agility and your own artistic creativity. It begs to be used in many ways including a stand-alone tangle, a ribbon, a ‘flower’, using diamonds or squares instead of orbs, and other tangle enhancers like rounding, etc.
How the PULSAR tangle came to be… I love everything about SPACE. I even saw a Space Shuttle launch! PULSAR grew out of half-listening to a Space podcast and seeing an image of a pulsar, hence the name and the new tangle. Continue on to see the pattern!
Here are the simple step-outs for an easy tangle…
-
Draw an orb
-
Draw 3 consecutively smaller c-curved parenthesis strokes on the left and right sides of the orb
-
Turn the tile 90 degrees and repeat step 2
-
Draw 4 black aura-ed pearls in between the spaces
-
Aura between pearls.
-
